Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Morton County, North Dakota. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
