Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Newton County, Georgia. Day to day you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
