Now hiring: CNC programmer-operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Chattahoochee County, Georgia. The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
