Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Montgomery County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing 1+ years on the tools preferred.
