Ironing operator — Staffordshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Staffordshire, England. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents.
