Membrane applicator — Kusilvak Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. What we are looking for: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane On a typical shift you will seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
