Overlocker operator wanted in Omala

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Omala, Kogi State. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Your main tasks: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
