Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Blount County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Performance bonus on top of base pay.
