Stitching operator — Graham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Graham County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy garment factory. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory You will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
