Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Hamilton County, Indiana. You will work on the moulding line. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
