Now hiring: tower crane operator (Oklahoma)

Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
