Punch press operator — Henrico County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Henrico County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Six days a week, one day off.
