Gtaw welder — Ottawa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
