Stitching operator — Laurel County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Laurel County, Kentucky. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 3+ years on the tools preferred.
