Vertical milling machine operator • Johnson County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Johnson County, Indiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
