Crane rigger — Hardin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Hardin County, Illinois. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Six days a week, one day off.
