Sample machinist — Coffee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Coffee County, Alabama. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
