CO2 welder wanted in Sullivan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Sullivan County, Tennessee. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
