In-process quality controller wanted in Orange County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Orange County, Virginia. You will be based in an automotive parts factory. Day to day you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Full-time with occasional weekends.
