Conventional mill operator — Steuben County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Steuben County, Indiana. Day to day you will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
