Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ngor-Okpala, Imo State. You will work on a busy housing site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
