Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Wheeler County, Nebraska. The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
