Assembly line worker — Petersburg Borough

Join our team: we are hiring an assembly line worker in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. You will be based in an electronics assembly unit. Day to day you will tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard; apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts. You should have: • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets 6+ years on the tools preferred. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
