You will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
