Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in McPherson County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
