Cnc lathe operator wanted in Fairfield County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
