Semi-automatic welder — Warren County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Warren County, Iowa. The job is at a busy production line. The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
