Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Chase County, Kansas. You will be based on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet The role involves lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days.
