Earthmoving equipment operator • Halifax County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Halifax County, Virginia. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. The role involves clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
