Glazing fabricator — Sefton

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazing fabricator in Sefton, England. You will work at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing On the job you will handle: • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
