Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Harris County, Georgia. You will work at a power plant. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
