Bar bender and fixer — Greene County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Greene County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
