Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Jackson County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills On the job you will handle: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
