Formwork joiner — Afijio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Afijio, Oyo State. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Day to day you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss.
