Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Mason County, Illinois. You will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. You should have: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
