Mason's helper • Jackson County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mason's helper in Jackson County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate You should have: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
