What we are looking for: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints On a typical shift you will drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site.
