Sample machinist — Brazos County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Brazos County, Texas. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
