Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Henderson County, Illinois. You will work on residential new-build sites. Day to day you will torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck. Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • A good head for heights and steady balance • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
