Visual inspection operator — Sunderland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Sunderland, England. The job is in an electronics assembly workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping The role involves: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
