Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 6+ years on the tools preferred.
