We are recruiting: we are hiring a joiner in Graves County, Kentucky. The job is at a shopfitting company. On a typical shift you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
