Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Rotating shifts.
