Now hiring: we are hiring a commis chef in Jahun, Jigawa State. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs. Requirements: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking 2+ years on the tools preferred.
