Baker — Alamance County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Alamance County, North Carolina. You will be based in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Score the top of loaves before baking • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
