Stainless steel welder — Lee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lee County, Illinois. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
