Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Marshall County, Illinois. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear 5+ years on the tools preferred.
