Now hiring: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits On a typical shift you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
