Mason's helper — Caddo Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mason's helper in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a residential housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
