Cnc lathe operator wanted in Barnsley

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Barnsley, England. Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £3,050 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
